Enerkraft was awarded contracts by the Government of Delhi to design and develop efficient wastewater management systems for densely populated areas, including Sangam Vihar and Chhatarpur. The company used advanced construction techniques such as micro tunnelling and horizontal directional drilling (HDD), enabling execution in highly congested environments where conventional excavation is not possible. The sewerage network is seamlessly integrated with nearby Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and operates under the supervision of the Delhi Jal Board.
Impact
- Reduced untreated sewage discharge and monsoon overflows, lowering groundwater contamination and waterborne diseases.
- Minimized sewage-stormwater mixing and waterlogging on key corridors like MB Road, supporting the rejuvenation of the Yamuna River.
- Strengthened sanitation infrastructure, driving urban development and improving residents’ quality of life.
